Why I Write

A story should challenge a child enough to bring up questions.  The type of questions that then, in turn, challenge the parent to give honest answers.  This sets up a routine that is much more than literacy and thinking critically about events, but something much deeper.  It establishes a relationship in which meaningful conversations are a staple.

In writing stories from this place, I realized I needed to create a means for people to find my work.  An author friend of mine let me know that a website was required.

Well, if I’m making a website, I will fill it with substance.  I want to create something tangible that will be helpful to those that find it.  That is my aim with the post provided here.  I hope you find something valuable for your family and your journey.
